A striking vintage Art Deco bar tool by Negbaur, designed in the form of a stylized standing parrot. This signed example stands approximately 5 inches tall and combines sculptural form with clever utility: the open beak functions as a bottle opener, while the corkscrew folds discreetly into the back of the figure.

The design is a classic piece of American Art Deco barware, with a streamlined bird silhouette, circular eye detail, angular feather-like lines, and a faceted base. Comparable examples are described as chrome-plated Negbaur pieces from the 1930s, and one dealer example notes the form was patented in 1929.

The chrome finish gives the piece a crisp, architectural presence, while surface wear, light scratches, and finish variation reflect honest age and use. It works equally well as functional barware and as a small decorative object for a bar cart, shelf, or cocktail cabinet.
