Furniture may be picked up by appointment at Brierwood Nurseries in Bantam, Connecticut, at no additional charge.
After your purchase, we’ll prepare the piece for pickup and email you when it is ready. Please wait for this confirmation before visiting. Your pickup email will include the address, available times, and any item-specific instructions.
Please bring an appropriately sized vehicle, moving blankets, straps, and enough assistance to safely load and secure your purchase. Loading assistance may not always be available, and customers are responsible for transporting their pieces safely after collection.
Local Delivery
Local furniture delivery is available throughout Connecticut and to select nearby areas. Pricing is based on the delivery location, size of the piece, stairs, building access, and the assistance required.

Please request and approve your delivery quote before purchasing. Once confirmed, we’ll send you a complete invoice that includes the item and delivery charge.
Nationwide Furniture Delivery
Most furniture can be delivered throughout the contiguous United States using trusted third-party furniture carriers. Whenever practical, furniture is transported using blanket-wrapped service rather than conventional parcel shipping.
Delivery costs are not included in the listed product price. Rates depend on the piece, destination, stairs, building access, required service level, and carrier availability.

Delivery timing varies by destination and route scheduling. Because vintage furniture requires careful handling, nationwide delivery typically takes longer than standard parcel shipping. We’ll provide the available service details and estimated timing with your quote.
Art, Décor & Smaller Items
Eligible artwork, tabletop pieces, and smaller decorative objects may be shipped using standard parcel service. Available options and costs will be displayed at checkout when parcel shipping is available for an item.
Oversized, unusually fragile, or one-of-a-kind objects may require a custom shipping quote. The shipping method available on the product page or at checkout will determine how the item can be delivered.
Before You Purchase
Please review all measurements carefully and confirm that the piece will fit through doorways, stairwells, elevators, hallways, and its intended location. Buyers are responsible for verifying access before pickup or delivery.
Vintage pieces naturally show evidence of age and previous use. We document each item’s condition as clearly as possible through its description and photographs.

After Your Purchase
We’ll contact you using the information provided at checkout to coordinate pickup or an approved delivery arrangement.
Furniture must be collected or scheduled for delivery within the agreed timeframe unless other arrangements have been confirmed in advance. Please do not visit Brierwood Nurseries until you receive your Ready for pickup email.
